Accessibility at sonpito

Every facilities team deserves tools that work for them — regardless of ability. Accessibility isn't an afterthought at sonpito; it's part of how we build.

Our commitment

We design and develop sonpito to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, the same benchmark Salesforce holds its own Lightning components to. Because sonpito is built natively on Salesforce, we inherit a strong accessibility foundation — and we hold our own components to that same bar, covering:

• Perceivable — clear text alternatives, sufficient color contrast, and information that never depends on color alone

• Operable — full keyboard navigation, visible focus states, and no keyboard traps

• Understandable — predictable interactions, clear labels, and error messages that actually help

• Robust — semantic markup and proper ARIA support so assistive technologies work the way they should

How we get there

Accessibility is built into our process, not bolted on at the end:

• Automated accessibility linting and testing on every release

• Manual testing with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS) across our components

• Regular audits against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria

• A living internal accessibility guide our engineering team follows for every component we ship
