What’s in a name?

sonpito’s name tells a story of connection, clarity and purposeful design. Born from the belief that data and workflows are fundamentally intertwined for successful operations, our name reflects the very foundation of how great workplace management works.

The name "sonpito" is a thoughtful blend of the founder’s cultures and two words that capture our core philosophy:

Sonraí (Irish) — meaning "data" or more specifically "particulars"
Compito (Italian) — meaning "tasks"

Together, they form sonpito: a recognition that your data and your tasks aren't separate — they're two sides of the same coin. Effective workplace management happens when information flows seamlessly into action, when the data informs the work, and when every task is backed by insights that matter.

Meet the sonpito team

  • Martin was former head of Real Estate Technology at Salesforce where he led a team responsible for the implementation of tools for use by all the Corporate Real Estate teams to run their business.

    Over the course of six years in the role, Martin developed a deep understanding of the many corporate real estate functions with a focus on knowing the customer and their team's challenges and pain-points. With a focus on leveraging the Salesforce Platform wherever possible Martin developed a unique perspective on how to leverage Salesforce for real estate.

    Prior to joining the Corporate Real Estate team at Salesforce Martin spent more than 20 years in leadership roles in Information Technology, at Salesforce and Gap, where he learned to appreciate the value of IT Service Management best practices and how they can be applied to improve almost any type of business operations.

  • Fawn understands the daily challenges of workplace operations because she's lived them. With over 20 years in corporate real estate and facilities management, she's been in the trenches working with the teams who keep workplaces running smoothly.

    At Salesforce, Fawn was a leader on the Real Estate Technology team, where she built platform solutions that actually worked for facility managers, hospitality teams, culinary staff, and operations crews. From streamlining workplace ticketing systems to simplifying event booking and asset management, she's seen firsthand what tools these critical teams need to succeed—and what doesn't work.

    Prior to joining Salesforce, Fawn spent more than 14 years at Cushman & Wakefield. Her deep industry experience spans all aspects of corporate real estate, giving her unique insight into what drives success the industry. Now as co-founder of sonpito, Fawn is focused on creating solutions that make facility managers' jobs easier, not harder.
